Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V 16.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Digital Still Camera with 16x Optical Zoom G Lens, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1080/60p Video
I beat my brains for the past month trying to decide on a Pentax P & S camera, DSLR, I decided rather late in life with a small portable camera to the SLR camera. Most of my big goal and with a pocket camera to carry them around, so I read the reviews all comments and will scan all the sites of consumption (like Amazon) for P &. S is the perfect camera I bought (and back), two cameras that ultimately does not work for me, I haunted for weeks before the couple HX9V bite the bullet and buy it. I'm very glad I did!
From the moment I opened the box I realized HX9V will be the winner. Unlike the camera, I'm back, and the management of about HX9V perfect for me. Secondly, I just too small to handle effectively even in the hands of quite small. But this is the ideal (for me) that has a good grip and control that seems to fall under my right hand. Build quality is excellent and I can not find any bugs in the full and complete.I decided I wanted a camera mode dial at the top of the SLR camera I've ever had. This camera comes with rechargeable batteries. (Ignoring that I found rather annoying), so I ordered one with a pair of battery back-up. (With two rechargeable batteries and costs only $ 14.00, Save), I charged the battery of the Sony camera that uses the power supply. (It 's ridiculous because they tie the camera between charges) and charges a spare in the charging accessories, little has been accused in two hours and was ready to put this small step. The camera up to my expectations. First, I have never owned a long zoom, and this is great, although I suspect the long end very often. The SLR camera is zoomed in on the life of my photography is done manually, zoom, zoom, I found this a little 'Gravelly a bit' slow - and difficult to control with precision. The focus is now, and I feel a delay time of the shooting, but shooting modes and combine multiple images together. Panorama function is very good, producing a breathtaking view. I found it very difficult to get less than stellar Panos, in other words, it's hard to mess!
Video is an area which has not explored before. But after seeing some of my efforts in a random HD TV, are completely dazzled by the capabilities of this camera. This is an area I intend to pursue next.
There are several additional features that I used to go here. But they are all great and very helpful. For the 3-D, I have no interest in it, but others can not comment because I do not care.
The picture quality! Have you read on it. It scans a full picture on dozens of websites that more than Peep-resolution images from Canon, Nikon and Sony, until your head feels like it will explode. If you are an intelligent person like you conclude that you have read a lot of hype around the internet is just that - Hype! All P & S cameras out there, there are weaknesses in one area or another, and the production of an SLR is not good! After I came to the conclusion that I feel more comfortable to buy Sony. I'm glad I did. I'm not going to blow up one of these images to poster size without Most will never be printed, and which are likely to be a "normal" size of the press room for great pictures! I have a keen eye, after over fifty years of photography, and I'll say it again; Sony HX9V to produce images of excellent!
Bottom line is this camera is packed with cutting edge technology with features that put it far ahead of other P & S cameras, it takes great pictures and a video.
They are a keeper! It will be around for many years to come. In fact, it may survive me since I was 73.

All the above have in spades standing after all these months. That said, I finally taught my wife how to use this camera a couple of weeks ago and she took it as a DAR meeting her. He returned two days later and download hundreds of images on his computer. Later, when I look over her shoulder as she scanned them, I realized that everything I mean all of them are very different from the results of its own. He seemed happy with them. But I know otherwise, so I asked her to bring home with me and some pictures. We, and I see the problem as soon as it repeats the image on the LCD screen and immediately, without waiting for a camera to focus camerea. He forgot that he had to press the shutter button to autofocus to function properly. Well, the longest history, made me reflect on our image. computer.Voila her! Now I was sharp and clean.
